Crashes and restarts frequently. Slow response time. Slow load times for articles. Whos the manager in charge of this development? Should be fired for not properly testing it before releasing this. Seriously, how hard is this to program?

Wake up bunch of idiots at sph... Cant even program a simple app

Having used the old app, this one is soo much better. Dont understand why others are not having much luck. Maybe something wrong with their iphone. Im using ios 6.0.1 on iphone 4s btw.

How can Channel News Asia have such an awful App.. Useless!

If I could give this app zero stars, I would. It crashes 99.9% of the time. What a joke.

Was using CNA app for a long time till last week when app became unstable. Close immediate after launching. Deleted and reinstalled but still faced the same issue. Using iPhone 5 one version before latest IOS.

The app kept crashing on start up until I deleted it and downloaded it again from the AppStore. Some internal data structures must have changed since the last release. This bug must have slipped the testing phase. Also, the app tends to freeze and become unresponsive, especially when switching pages. There seems to be some network activities that were running on the main thread ui instead of launching a separate thread. The programmers of this new release need to understand that time consuming activities should not be executed on the main ui thread. That is iOS programming 101. Please refactor this app and pay your technical debt!

App keeps crashing on 3GS, 4 & 4S. Switching to other news app.

After previous versions that didnt update and and poor UIs, this version has nailed what a news app should be: clean, easy to navigate UI - and most importantly - up to date news for Singapore and Asia.

Good news but hindered by many broken links. For example, the default text size is super small. To change it, the app says to go into settings and change the size. But there isnt any place within settings to do so. Cant "send feedback" because the app is unable to send an email. Please fix these obviously simple bugs and test run your app before its released.

Since updating to io8 and iphone6 the notifications do not work... Please patch.

The app returned a blank, black screen. This function working fine in v1.2.7 on my other phone - same model and iOS version.

The apps hang easily. When I close off the advertisement, I have problem to access the menu page.

It used to be ok with the in-line ads but ever since sometime this year, the app has been throwing in ads right at your face when you open the app (with some lag time which makes it more annoying) and whenever you switch out and back into the app. I have to constantly click the tiny cross (with some misses) to close the ad. I think it’s a very greedy move of the company to make more ads revenue and annoy the users. I don’t read any of those anyway, no matter how you incorporate it. And this intrusive approach will ensure my disgust at any of the ads I see.
